Dear Netters:

Newsletter Articles Wanted! Yes, That means you!

BMUG, formerly the Berkeley Macintosh Users Group and now just
BMUG, is requesting everyone to submit articles for our upcoming
Spring '92 Newsletter. They can be on anything that might be
of interest to a computer user.

The last issue had sections on hardware, software, System 7,
Desktop Productions (dtp+), programming, telecomm, PowerBooks,
computers in society, and commentary. How can there be so much? The
"newsletter" is around 450+ pages!

The articles don't have to be clones of the monthly rags that we
see on the news stands. We want real users, real solutions, and
real life stories!

If your article is accepted, you receive a six month membership in
BMUG, which includes the Newsletter, BMUG Memo (a small publication
that comes out every now and then), access to our BBS (16-lines),
notice of any special offers that developers make to our members,
and use of our telephone HelpLine. I know this doesn't sound like
much to people that are connected through the InterNet, but you'd
also get thousands of people that don't see your signature everyday
oohing and aahing over your words.

The deadline for submission is soon, October 31, 1992. The
Newsletter will be sent to our members in late January.

If this sounds like a good idea, please send your articles to

Tim_Holmes@bmug.org or

snailmail on disk (a good way for insurance)

PS: If you sent in an article and think it was accepted -- and
haven't received your copy of the Newsletter yet -- please send an
inquiry to Tim_Holmes@bmug.org including the title of your article,
your snail address, and whatever else you might want to mention...
