I have a text field that has two to three words per line... is there any way to have FileMaker display entire lines in the Index, instead of single words? Rajiv rajiv@athena.mit.edu

This will index the entire group of words rather than each. Jon R. The option-space is a "sticky space" and the entire text is treated as one word. The trade-off is that you will not be able to word wrap on a sticky space. +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Now that I have a reader that can do .sigs, I can't think of a witty | |one to put here, so I won't. Okay, I can separate the word with option spaces instead of regular spaces, but what if I use the underscore character? I cannot use non-breaking spaces because the text in the field will eventually be used in exporting lists to unix... which doesn't like spaces in file names. Rajiv
