I am generating a Filemaker Pro database that I would like to be completely button driven. I do not want the user to access or even see the menu bar or the status area. I can hide the status area from a script but the user can make it visible again. I would appreciate any suggestions. Paul Holzworth fns-nc1!hph@mcnc.org

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the Show/Hide Status button in FileMaker Pro 2.0, nor is there a way to remove the menus. You can, of course, set up access privileges to remove certain access for the users, though. -Nick Nick Triantos Avoid bus errors... Take the train!
