Simon Kok @ mindlink.bc.ca WRITES: Can somebody please tell me if this is a 'safe' application to use? Does the movie get stored in the FileMaker Pro document? Does it cause slowness in searches etc? I have found that boosting the application memory of FM Pro really
doesn't improve things very much due to the disk based nature of the
program.
>Yes.
Not according to the FM Pro 2.0 manual. It says "The movie in a
picture/sound field is actually a reference to a Quicktime movie file."
>Yes.
Since it is only a reference, I don't see why it should cause any
real slowness in searching. It's not like you can actually search within
the picture/sound field.
