I had to open my PowerMac while it was on today, and I noticed that the Power3d card was very hot. I remember reading somewhere that 3dfx cards can get pretty hot i nsituations where there is poor circulation; my 7200's case definitely has poor circulation, with the PCI slots totally isolated from the fan. Is there some sort of clip-on fan available specifically for the 3dfx card? Is one necessary? What sort of problems can I get from this heat buyild-up? Email responses are appreciated. I may have missed one. But apart from that, Myth is the newest example of a 3dfx-accelerated game. The other big one that's coming out very soon is F/A-18 Hornet Korea. In addition, the Power3D card will accelerate many RAVE games as well as 3dfx games. Hope that helps you out some. -- Julian Y. TIA You can use a CPU fan on it if you need to. But more importantly, what games have you played with it on your mac? Are there any? Apart from the ones that come with the board I mean. Honestly inquisitive... - Biffa on IRC - DALnet -#mIRC,#chatzone,#cyberfriends DALnet "Fly the Friendlier SkIRCs" http://www.dal.net
