I take it you're cleaning up in their bug hunting contest, eh?

Interesting, considering that I've had b2 for 3 weeks and had that
many crashes that I can blame on Netscape. Gosh, you don't think it
might be a conflict with other stuff that you load at boot, do you?

This is the typical mac.twit response: it *must* be the fault of the
new software! It *can't* be because I'm loading in a 3rd party
extension that does bad things to the system/disk driver software/etc.

Things to ask:

What Mac do you use?
What version of the system softare do you use?
Is your hard disk driver software compatible with the above items?
Do you use software that patches your disk driver software?
Do you have freeware/shareware extensions and control panels loaded?
Do you have extensions/control panels KNOWN to be "flakey"?
Do you have the latest version of MacTCP? (v2.0.6)
Did you reboot your machine with the minimum number of extensions
    needed to reach the Net?
Did you attempt to find out if there is a extension/control panel
    conflict?

Or did you just assume that it *must* be Netscape's fault?

James - photoshop newsgroup removed since this has *nothing* to do
with photoshop...and really has nothing to do with graphics,
html or the web...consider moving this to comp.sys.mac.misc,
        or perhaps alt.flame?
