  Not exactly. The Edsel was a lemon from day one, and was plagued with
more problems than any other automobile in history. 

  The PowerPC CPU isn't plagued with anything other than a poor
marketing scheme. If it were advertised as heavily as the Edsel was, the
Mac OS would have a significantly larger market share that it does now.
