A tech support guy told me that I'd be a "beta tester" if I installed 
this PCI card.  The only incompatibility issue that he'd heard about 
was with an Epson printer driver.  He blamed Epson, not XLR8.

If there's any possibility of flaky performance, I'd rather buy 
something boring and reliable like a four port Belkin card. 
266 MHz beige G3 desktop.

Don't try to talk me into getting a combo Firewire/USB card.  I've 
already made up my mind--I'll wait for Firewire until I buy a G4 
PowerBook next year.
