Ok, I'm looking to get my girlfriend a used computer as a gift. We live
in the Los Angeles area and would be most interested in machines that I
can look at before I buy.

Basically the minimum setup I want is this.

5-8 Megs of RAM
230-500 MB HD
A color monitor (13" or larger)
keyboard and mouse.

Also -- as additions that would be nice I'd like:
A CD-ROM drive (x2 speed)
a 14.4 modem.

I'd like to spend about $500 to $600 on the system, but am willing to
entertain any other offers.

I'm looking at the IIsi or IIci as a decent system, but would love to see
offers of the all in one Performa series machines.

Thanks all,
Alex
