I have a

Macintosh: 7220/200 with
12" Pci Pentium Card with 166mhz cpu (dos compatibility card)

need the correct version of pc setup that works with the card.

I have tried dos compatibility software verson 1.6.4. (the latest
available from the apple archives) but after installing it and accessing
the pc setup control panel I get the message. "this version of PC SETUP
Software can not be used with the Pc Compatibility card installed"

Question is what version of pc setup (dos compatibility) software do I
need to get to make this card operational.
Where can I download the software? Or if anybody has the software I
would appreciate if you could Email me the software in BIN or HQX format
(size no larger than a floppy) so I can download the drivers to my mac
computer.

1.6.4 is the latest version on Apple's ftp site. Possible causes of the
error message I can think of are wrong version of MacOS or a 3rd-party
extension conflict.

Who manufactured that card? It may not be an Apple card, but an Orange
micro card. Check with orange micro for drivers.

Hmmm, sounds like the Apple 166MHz Pentium card.
If so, PC Setup v1.6.4 is the one u need;
available at apple aust. software download sites.
Also - I think if you're using 32mb ram dimms or
bigger, u need a PC software patch, available
there too.
