I can get a 1.4 gig eide drive NEW for about $275 (Yes $275, not a type
o) The brands I've seen at that are IBM, Conner, and for $295 western
Digital. I think that maxtors were running at $315.
My experance has been that PC storage is cheaper than macstorage, but a
SCSI drive ordered from a MAC company is about 7% cheaper than the same
SCSI drive orederd from a PC company. The opisite is true for IDE drives.
