I have to share my experiences, I spose. I use my Zip to grab stuff from
the comp lab on campus. 144 Mac quadra 800's. I just plug it in and FTP
my hearts content. I then take the drive home and plug it into my PC.
No problems. The SCSI offers FAR more versatility than the Parrallel
version does. Not ONLY can you use it on Macs and SCSI equiped PC's, but
you can use it under most x86 unixes, with Sparcstation, With Atari's,
Amigas, etc. I understand your point, but you're limited to the x86
platform running DOS, Windoze, or OS/2, if you go with the parallel. For
many people this is fine, but for a good number of people, this just
doesn't hack it.
