Hi, I'm running a Quadra 605 with a 13" Trinitron monitor. I'm about to get a 486 DX4/100 notebook with the standard SVGA output port. The question is, is there an adaptor to allow me to plug the Mac monitor into the SVGA output port? Also, can I route the laptop into the mac, and use the mac's ethernet connection? Or just access the mac HDD from the laptop? Thanks, Barry

But it's normally the other way - running a PC monitor on your Mac - make sure they understand what you want to do. Alternatively, you may have some friends doing electronics who can make an adaptor plug for you. I think it's just a matter of getting some wires swapped around. If you're laptop has ethernet it should be OK, but you'll probably need some appropriate software. If you just want to transfer files by wire (serial connection) rather than a million floppy disks, use MacLink Plus. I use it all the time and it's OK.
