A couple months ago there was some discussion about the ongoing problem
of printing views that do not
have a visual representation.  MacApp handles printing views that you
have rendered on the screen
but there is no clear way to print stuff that is not shown.  

Did anything ever come of all this discussion.  The last thing I saw was
a request from Jeff Alger 
that we get a response from Apple on how this should be done.  Then
silence!

Could someone send me the state of the art solution to this problem.
