Hello,

Can we change this newsgroup to just comp.sys.mac.oop.macapp? I assume
MacApp 2.0 will be discussed here too.

No. There was a lot of discussion about this before the newsgroup was
voted on. This group is going to be gatewayed with the MacApp3Tech$
mailing list, which is for MacApp 3.0 only. So this newsgroup is for
MacApp 3 discussion.

There is a MacApp 2.0 mailing list you can subscribe to, although
there isn't much traffic on it these days. If you want to, send mail
to macapp.admin@applelink.apple.com asking to subscibe to
MacApp2Tech$.

The time for suggestions like this was during the Request For Discussion that
went out to comp.sys.mac.announce and other relevant newsgroups. The discussion
has ended, the voting has occurred, the group has been created, and it will
*not* include discussions of MacApp 2. This group is gatewayed to the MacApp 3
mailing list on AppleLink, and those people don't want to start receiving
inapplicable mail. If you want to talk about MacApp 2, send mail to
MacApp.Admin@AppleLink.Apple.com and ask to be placed on the MacApp2Tech$
mailing list.
