Not really at all. Why make do with a pathetic little patch of screen, when 
with a $40 cable you can plug your 5300 straight into one of them nice, big,
expensive monitors that someone else owns.

I have a 5300 gray, and the screen is fine for most things. When I wanna do
colour artwork I just borrow a colour monitor form a friend, or plug into one
of the colour macs at uni.

Works for me. and its cheaper. also I have the priviledge of cracking the
screen of my old duo 270c. nice screen. $3500 to replace screen though.
anyone want parts for a duo? 270HD, 12M RAM, logic board, keyboard, case?
