Thinking of buying a 5300 greyscale

I'm thinking of buying a 5300mono. (most likely with 24Mb of RAM).

Australian price would be about $3500.

I'ld like to hear peoples opinion on this machine and if they think it's a
good buy. I'm esp. concerned with all the negative press (rightly so from
what I've heard) about the 5300 line.

Does it work well for you? What do you use it for? (I plan to mainly do
word processing and play some games, maybe attached to an external colour
monitor).

Thanks in advance

Anthony
