MS Excel 5.0, ClarisWorks 4.0V.4, SpeedDoubler, FreePPP 2.5rf, Fetch 3.0.1, Netscape 2.0, Eudora Light, GV Teleport Platinum [ external :-( ], and lots of shareware/freeware board and card games. 7.5 sys update 2.0, Revision 2. No RamDoubler!! So far this machine has been VERY stable, and certainly much faster than my Performa 636cd, 8/250. I have hooked it up to the 14" moniter that was bundled with the Performa (mostly just to see what sys 7.5 looked like in color)... I have used it primarily to crunch large Excel files, do word-processing, and fairly standard (i.e. email, light FTPing, and light WWW browsing [not too pretty in 16 level grayscale]) internet stuff. This machine has worked most excellent for me and I couldn't be happier that I got it. I was very concerned initially because most of the posts here reflect the many negatives, but self-selecting samples notwithstanding, I took the plunge because I couldn't beat the price and needed a laptop for my trip to Cambodia. I don't know what the current exchange rate is for USD to AusD$3500, but if that's not the primary concern, my vote is a wholehearted go-for-it!!!! Abel Ornopia Nelson <abel.o.nelson@m.cc.utah.edu>
