Well, with the price drops I'm finally taking the plunge into a 2400. I also want a 3gb drive in it, so I'll be producing two excess drives: 2.16GB Toshiba 2101MAN. (From my 2300). 2.0GB formatted, 13ms average seek. 19mm height, fits all IDE-capable PBs except 1400/2400. 11 months old, no errors. Sys 8.1 installed. They're selling at $240, say $195obo. 1.3 GB IBM, (pulled from the 2400). 12.7 mm, they're supposed to be fast. Sys 8.1 installed. Selling for $195, say $150obo -- though maybe I should go looking for someone who needs a slimline :) over on the ibm groups. Thanks, Ken
