Carl,

If you're lucky the problem is a loose connector, if you're unlucky you
may have actually damaged the PCB inside the screen. The solution could
cost you anything from 50p for a new connector, to �500 for a new
display

A similar thing happened to me several years ago, but with the B&W
screen on a PB 520. I eventually I found a broken PB 540c in a computer
shop (dead motherboard) and added the screen to my working motherboard.

The 'cobbled' together machine is stil running ok to this day. Since
upgrading to a PB1400/166 it spends all of it's time working on the
Bovine RC56, adding to the Evanglist team.
