The software seems to be for a G3 Powerbook, ... also, if you do not have a DVD drive, then you do not have the DVD card installed in the Personality Slot (??). Apparently Apple won't sell DVD solutions separately, so you may find it difficult to obtain DVD without having to buy a whole new PowerMac G3 with DVD. Doesn't make sense, does it? As I have previously stated, Software DVD makes a lot of sense, and I wonder when Apple is going to build Software DVD right into QuickTime, so that we wouldn't have to worry about hardware decoding.. ATI Tech says that they won't even consider writing a DVD Player for their card until Apple writes Software DVD into QuickTime..
