Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the first non-beta version of
CodeWarrior 6 released at WWDC in May of this year? And now less than
4 months after its release, we have to pay another $250/350 to upgrade
to v7? Am I the only one who thinks this is a little strange? I could
understand charging for the upgrade if we had a working product for a
full year, but in many ways, even the official release of v6 seems
like a beta. In fact we've had to move to 7EA just to debug under OS X
(as most of you know, debugging under OS X with v6 is an exercise in
frustration).

I'm not complaining about the problems with CodeWarrior -- I
understand it must have been a difficult task getting it to work at
all under OS X. And I'm willing to work around the difficulties in
order to do development under OS X. But as a regular customer of
Metrowerks since the bronze/gold days, I personally think that
charging a $250/350 upgrade to CodeWarrior 6 owners seems a bit
excessive. Anyway, that's one man's opinion...
