>CW Mac OS Renewal* before September 10th $249 >CW Mac OS before September 10th $499 >CW Mac/Win Renewal* before September 10th $349 >CW Mac/Win before September 10th $699 Seems kind of expensive to me. Just a guess, but Motorola bean counters couldn't have had anything to do with this. Professional programmers whose companies will buy CW for them may not care. Who will? Small companies, shareware guys, hobbyists, students who no longer officially are, innovators, etc. In short, some of the very people we want developing for Macintosh. Who else will care? Apple Computer and its customers who want to encourage, not discourage, Mac development. I'm not saying Metrowerks doesn't work hard and doesn't deserve compensation for their excellent products. I'm just saying the price is making me hesitate. I've got CW 6.1 and the free development tools that come with OS X. Maybe that's enough for now.
