A.D. Software announces the release of version 1.2 of OOFILE.

This release adds 
- Non-join relationships 
- Multiple field sorting, including reverse sorted segments, without
needing compound indexing.
- General Dependency mechanism, which provides automatic re-sorting
- Additional searches, including wildcards, optimised combinatorial
searches and single-pass multiple string fragments.


ABOUT OOFILE
OOFILE is a cross-platform tool for C++ programmers. It provides databases that
are transportable across Windows, Unix and Macintosh with no conversion
required.

OOFILE goes well beyond traditional database frameworks, by including
report-writer, charting and GUI integration classes.

Unlike most other object-oriented databases, OOFILE allows you to think totally
in C++. Instead of having to learn an SQL-like query language, simple C++
expressions are used.

For Macintosh developers, OOFILE is integrated with the popular AppMaker
prototyping and code generation tool. Together they provide complete applicatio
    n
generation without writing any C++ code.
(AppMaker is a product of Bowers Development in the USA.)

OOFILE is sold as C++ source code and is royalty free for single and
multi-user distributions. It uses the industrial-strength C-tree Plus
database engine from Faircom Corp. in the USA, to provide indexing and
multi-user capabilities. C-tree Plus is used in over 360,000 user sites
worldwide.
