CodeWarrior Development Tools for Mac OS and Windows v9

Metrowerks' combined package - CodeWarrior for Mac OS and Windows, 
Version 9, gives users all of the capabilities of the stand-alone 
CodeWarrior for Mac OS and CodeWarrior for Windows products within a 
single package. With this product, developers can take advantage of 
developing C/C++ applications that target Classic Mac OS, Mac OS X or 
Windows operating systems using a single integrated development 
environment.
 
The CodeWarrior IDE has everything you need in one easy-to-use tool 
suite: an advanced project manager, build system, source code editor, 
code completion for C, C+ +, compilers, linkers, debuggers, class 
browser, and more.

Here's a list of the features available in CodeWarrior Development Tools 
for Mac OS and Windows v9.
 
1.      Synchronization of Mac and Windows Pro 9.2 product: 
   a.      Truly cross platform development support with shared project 
files in a common IDE version (V5.5.1); 
   b.      Build chain including compiler front-end technology, 
assemblers and MSL runtime libraries are common to both Macintosh and 
Windows products.
   c.      Introduction of Mac & Windows Pro 9 combination product - 
order once and get tools for both platforms. 


2.      Automated licensing web servers allow more flexible licensing 
options and improved customer relations. 


3.      Debugger Features: 
   a.      New profile and trace view integrated into the debugger. 
   b.      An improved breakpoints window (allows saving breakpoints 
between sessions, grouping types of breakpoints, and naming a 
breakpoint);

4.      Improved CodeWarrior build tools: 
   a.      Faster compiler build speeds. 
   b.      Higher performance from compiled applications. 
   c.      Advanced C99 standards compliance: 
      i.      C99 variable length arrays. 
      ii.     Support for many non-standard GCC language extensions. 
   d.      C99/ISO C++98 feature for Unicode/Multi-byte source files 
allows the use of non-ASCII characters in literals and identifiers.
   e.      Tracking of include file guard macros. 
   f.      Instance manager tracks templates and doesn�t recompile them 
which improves compiler speed. 
   g.      Include file capitalization. 
   h.      New preprocessor panel. 
   i.      A portable C++ Library Object FormatC. 
   j.      Support for CodeTEST instrumentation. 
   k.      Support for disabling specific warnings. 


5.      General CodeWarrior Development Studio Features:

style guide formatting so code is formatted as you type;
