I think it would be very helpful if Metrowerks would officially say "this component isn't done yet, but it ought to have been part of CWDS9, so we will absolutely include it in 9.x at no additional charge when it's ready". Also, for what it's worth, I think that sort of tool should be open-sourced, or at least opened up when it's gotten long in the tooth.
