I do a lot of Driver (USB/FireWire/PCI) and QuickTime codec development and must be able to test and debug on different Macs with differnt hardware configurations. Otherwise I cannot ensure the code I deliver to my clients/customers is properly tested and then it becomes a Support nightmare for me. So if CW 9 "locks" to a single machine, I'll stick with CW 8.3 until it dies under Panther and then be forced to "Switch" to Apple's tools. And I'm a long time customer and have been upgrading my MetroWorks CodeWarrior disks since CW 4 - not CW Pro 4 , your 4th compiler update. Milton J. Aupperle www.outcastsoft.com
