I imagine they are thinking of something other than what you are 
thinking of.

I've worked with TrollTech's support before and I'm not aware of any 
problems they need our help for.

As far as I know there are no known problems with QT from TrollTech.  I 
recall a year ago that they used a Microsoft implementation of a 
Standard Library function which was wrong and that was the only hang up. 

I'm not aware of any other problems and I was under the impression that 
people were successfully using it.

I don't know why it isn't working for you now, did you try it?
