One oddity I am seeing after updating to 8.3, rebuilding pre-compiled headers and libraries, under Mac OS X 10.2.2, is that a log file is always created even if the "Log System Messages" is unchecked in the project's settings. You can recreate this problem by creating a project from the "Mac OS C Stationery", then in the "Select project stationery" dialog choose "C Toolbox Mach-O". Build the project, then run the debugger. A log file is opened up for the debugging session even though "Log System Messages" is unchecked in the project's settings. I have updated two different computers to 8.3 and both exhibit the same problem. Looking at the release notes for the debugger I noticed the following entry: "Creating a debugger log file no longer crashes on 10.2." Is this a bug or a feature change to always have logging turned on? Is there any way to turn logging off because I don't want to having logging turned on all the time? Thanks.
