modify file name of stationary for new project

Is this capability built into the newer versions of CW Mac? I like the
names of certain files in a new project to reflect the name of that
project. So it would be nice if the IDE did the rename when creating
the project files.

The logical extension of this is to rename the targets in the project
preferences. I suppose this could be done with AppleScript. Does
anyone have a better scripting reference than that included with CW 5?
How about just a comprehensive list of the all 'set' property names?

The finishing touch would be to modify the .html and/or .java content
for a new code or codebase in a Java applet project, but that's probably
pushing it...

Thanks,
Diller

If you go into the stationery and remove the output file names then the
output files will be based upon the name of the project.

I'm afraid you went a little too quick there. How do I remove the
output file names? The IDE won't let me save the preferences with null
target names. Removing the file name (not suffix) in the stationary
folder would be problematic because there is more than 1 file with the
same suffix. Besides, I tried a simple case with unique suffixes and
the IDE didn't rename anything. Is there anything magic about the
standard stationary folders? I use some of my own.

Is there any more info on scripting? A list of 'set' property names
would save a lot of guesswork.

Thanks,
Diller

You need to read what I wrote, I wasn't saying that any files other than
the output file name. There is no way to do Target Names automatically
nor will the Source Files created with the Wizards have names by
default. Only the output file name will be based upon your project's
name if that is left blank.

Only the output name

Look in the scripting manual and use the dictionery if there is
something you would like added to the dictionary try sending a feature
request into
