I have a somewhat whacked error. During compliation, I got an error that stated "Servo.hpp could not be opened." If I changed one letter in the file name (and modified the thwo places it was included) the compliing would work. I tried several diferrent spellings (ex "SServo.hpp", "Servo_.hpp", "Servo.h", "Servo.hp"), and they all worked... but as soon as the file was renamed "Servo.hpp", it could no longer be opened. As a work around, I renamed it "ServoBase.hpp", and I no longer have the problem. Does anyone know what might have been going on? Specs: Dual 533 G4, 640Meg RAM, Dual CW 5.3 Note, I keep my project and code files on a seperate partition from my apps. Could this be part of the problem? -- Adin Hunter Baber "Death is lighter than a feather, Duty heavier than a mountain" "...nevertheless, they fought on even though their homes were piles of ashes, even though they knew they could not win they still fought on,..."

Hmmm I'd suspect a unprintable character or space in the file name or in where you included it as the most likely problem. Another common error is using the brackets instead of quotes by accident. I've tried to duplicate this and I couldn't so it is likely just something on your system or a type error. Ron -- Metrowerks wishes you a Happy New Year Ron Liechty MWRon@metrowerks.com

Here is what I did to fix it. Copy the project into a temp location. Copy "Servo.hpp" into that folder. Make sure the proper includes say "Servo.hpp". Compiled fine. Copy Servo.hpp back into the original header folder. Set the original project's include back to "Servo.hpp". Compiled fine. Apparently, copying the file and putting it back into the include folder fixed the problem. -- Adin Hunter Baber "Death is lighter than a feather, Duty heavier than a mountain" "...nevertheless, they fought on even though their homes were piles of ashes, even though they knew they could not win they still fought on,..."
