CW7 very picky about inline functions ?

One big difference I am seeing with CW7 is that is refuses to inline functions that CW6 was quite happy with. This is just sraight C code with the relevant fucntions being declared either inline or static inline. I have tried setting the inline depth to the max (8) and it makes no difference - CW7 just generates warnings saying that various functions were not inlined, with no explanation. This is a real pain as the only solution appears to be to convert all these inline functions to macros (yuck !), or to downgrade to CW6 again. //Paul

Can you send me an example of a function that will not inline so I can
forward it to the compiler engineers.
