So I have a CW6 project file with targets for Mac and Windows executables. The project file is kept in source control and modified as little as possible. There is one target setting that seems to cause grief when trying to build the Mac target on either a Windows or a Mac host, the selection of Post-Linker. If you are hosted on Windows, you need to have the post linker set to "MacBinarize" in order to get the output properly encapsulated. If you are hosted on Mac and try to build with that project file and that target set in that fashion, you get the message "could not find MacBinarize postlinker". It would seem like there is a conflict there. Possible workarounds I have thought of: a. use different targets depending on host. ie, bring the notion of "what host are you on" into the target selection. b. find or build a dummy "MacBinarize PostLinker" to throw in the Mac systems CW6 folder, so that option can be left set the same way everywhere. c. Just leave it off and give up on building Mac executables on Windows machines (although still being able to compile and link does wonders for desk checking and keeping both platforms in sync). I really don't want people to have to keep going to that setting and changing it every time they get a copy of the project file from the CVS server. Rob
