======================================================================== CORE FOUNDATION for WIN32 ======================================================================== I've put together a system to create a Win32 DLL using Metrowerks CodeWarrior I've tested it in Mac and Windows using CW 8.3. I've would like to be able to build CoreFoundation on MS Visual C++ too, but I've found showstoppers, mainly the lack of C99 headers on VC, on which CF relies heavily (later we can open a discussion about this, MacTypes.h, TargetConditionals.h etc or about why UniversalInterfaces 4.0 are no more universal) This first version creates a DLL, but nothing prevents to update it to create an static lib My goal is to have a lib compatibile with the CF headers on the Win32 QT 6 SDK(BTW - why there are those headers there?) I hope I've not break anything with these changes (the code compiles fine the __MACH__ version on Panther) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There's a summary ChangeLog in the package about the modifications made to the CVS codein opendarwin.org there's lots of cleaning still to do on these sources, but lets first make them work... I'd would like to see my changes to the CF sources applied upstream ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Instructions to build CF-Win32 1 - download the tarball from <http://www.cegroup.it/mobilia/CFWin32.sit> or <http://www.cegroup.it/mobilia/CFwin32.zip> 2 - decompress it 3 - build the headers hierarchy on MacOSX, from the terminal cd (...)/CFwin32/MW_Windows/ sh CopyHeaders.sh on Windows double click on CopyHeaders.bat 4 - open the CodeWarrior project CF.mcp 5 - compile it 6 - ??? 7 - profit!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pax et Bonum # dott.
