CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS Version 9
There are two versions of the 9.1 update installer for you to choose
from.
Option one: You can download the full 9.1 update installer. It is a
complete, self-contained installer containing a complete set of rebuilt
libraries.
Option two: You can download the 9.1 web update installer. The web
update installer is small and downloads the 9.1 update items from the
Metrowerks ftp server as you need them. You can use the web installer to
update your system without downloading the rebuilt libraries and save
some download time. However, if you elect to not install libraries, you
must manually rebuild the MSL and runtime libraries on your machine
after installing the update. No updates available

BTW I myself didn't ask for the eval - I guess CW was just being kind to me since I have had so many versions right? I'm not complaining although I will wait until I install Panther before exploring CW 9. respect.... Peter

I think you can do this if you rush and do it before it goes into
evaluation mode (15 days after first use or 30 days after installation)

You can, if it isn't in eval mode.

I think we sent a copy to every previous owner who did not upgrade to
CW9... We are pretty proud of it.

Well it does time out after installation but if you trashed it and then
installed Panther and then reinstalled it in Panther it may be new.
