While using the Objective C support in Codewarrior 8 (macosxedition) I have noticed something about its strictness. It doesn't seem to like me sending a message to an object it doesn't know about the message for. A warning is 'fine', but I would like to rid myself of the error that should not be produced by this behaviour. I would really like to disable this error (because it really isn't an error, it is allowed as a dynamic language, and by gcc at least). Disabling the warning would be icing on the cake too, because it wouldn't bring up the window with warnings/errors. Are there any references for how to setup certain options for the compiler for objective c? Or #pragmas for disabling certain warnings and 'errors' (most of course couldn't be disabled, but this one has little value as far as errors go). Regards, Jeffrey Drake

I assume you have turned off any Strict settings and do not have
warnings as errors. I'm sorry that I don't know enough about Objective
C to recreate this myself but if you want to send me a code I can use
in the simple stationery I will enter it as a bug/feature suggestion.
