Does CodeWarrior 8 give a platform-independent GUI and C++ ?

Hello,
I am planning to write some application that would be available both for
PC (Windows) and for Mac (MacOS X).
Myself, I have a PC; I have worked a lot with Microsoft Visual C++ and
Borland C++Builder; now I am doing a research on cross-platform
C++ programming environments. So far, I have found CodeWarrior 8
("...for Mac OS and Windows, Professional Edition") to be the most promising.
So here are my questions:
- does CodeWarrior 8 IDE work in Windows?
- is it really so easy to compile MacOS and Windows executables from the same
C++ source?
- does CodeWarrior 8 give a platform-independent GUI? I would be happy
to design GUI just like I used to do in C++Builder/Delphi - by dragging
some checkboxes/input fields/buttons onto the form... then, compile the
executables for both operating systems and get windows applications that
follow visual standards of MacOS and Windows. And I am not talking about
Java since it is still so slooow...
Thank you for your help!
