When I call PMPrintDialog (or PMSessionPrintDialog) under OS 10.2.x, and then handle the Carbon event generated when someone clicks on the "Printer" popup, GetMenuID returns 0. Under 10.1.x, with the exact same code, GetMenuID returns 128. Is this a known behavior? Is there some other way to determine that a menu event was generated from a dialog popup so that I can ignore the event with an eventNotHandledErr? Tks, J

That is the single best place to ask carbon related questions -- there are a lot of Apple folks on the list as well. Bryan
