Hi, I have been trying to get a simple table using LOutlineTable to work for a very, very long time. So long that I'd rather not say here because it's so embarrassing. Essentially I am just trying to get an LOutlineTable to work so that it simply shows text. I can find no documentation for LOutlineTable anywhere. I have looked at some of the table classes on the Metrowerks site and none of them have been any help. I am still a newbie to PowerPlant and I have been stumped by this problem for so long that it's starting to make me sick. I understand that you have to subclass LOutlineTable and LOutlineItem but I am really not sure what needs to be done in the subclass. I am simply trying to get something working that will display text. My project is simply a PowerPlant Appearance Stationery PPC that I added an LOutlineTable to. I am just trying to figure out how to use LOutlineTable and what functions need to be overridden (and how). I have been staring at this code for over a week and I have no idea how to even attack it and I have found no documentation on this subject at all, anywhere. Perhaps I am not looking in the right place; but I didn't see any mention of LOutlineTable in the CW documentation. If anyone can offer any help to a newbie who really wants to learn this stuff, I would truly, truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Evan Hoffman evan@nospam.evanhoffman.com

Evan, there's an Outline Table Demo program folder in the PowerPlant examples that shows really well how to do it! If necessary, contact me via email and I'll send you some more samples (the project I'm working on right now uses quite some outline tables) greetings, Jan Triptic Design --- Internet storage, the easy way, the Mac way -- http://www.tripticdesign.com
