Both network and modem connections are supported. Interface is quite
simple, although not really 100% Mac-like. GratefulMed is copyright of the
National Library of Medicine, NIH. I have no idea how much it costs, for
us it's free. But you can send email to the Medline Internet Help,
gmhelp@gmedserv.nlm.nih.gov and they should be able to answer all your
questions.

I would suggest email gmhelp@gmedserv.nlm.nih.gov for information on both
GratefulMed, a search/retrieval interface for abstracts, and
LoansomeDoc a program that can request copies of full text articles.
GM is reasonably cheap, a few dollars or less, sometimes pennies
for searches. Reasonably cheap modems, $150 for 14.4k bps, work fine.

Good luck,

Loansome Doc is part of Grateful Med 2.0, not a separate program.
