(I didn't re-post the complete article from Tom; it is #881) 1) MSW does not, Think 'C' does. 2) MSW does...allows you to choose Fwd/Bck/Selected/All. 3) I use the note pad or the Scrapbook...more powerful. 4) I have seen Mac programs that do this...never used it (not even in 'vi'. 5) Yes, Quick-Keys will do this, so will the NotePad (I use it a lot when I use 'vi' to store a whole series of commands.) Also with MSW you can set an EXTENSIVE list of commands to any single (albeit modified) keystroke. ie:CTRL-OPT-CMD-SHIFT-CAPS-W. 5a) Ummm, that is what CMD-Z is for (UNDO). 6) I don't know about Marks, I usually just insert mnemonics.... As far as extensibility, I suppose if MSW were free, you could hack the source code yourself. Otherwise you are stuck with the hundreds of commands available. Scott R. Bell Sorry, I've used 'vi, 'emacs' and a host of Mac WP's. I like my mouse and windows. (Now, X isn't so bad....;)
