In an effort to help eradicate an outbreak of vNir and other viruses on my campus, I'm trying to create a startup floppy that I can put Disinfectant 2.9 onto. I'm using System 7.1 because that's what I'm running, and I know System 7 will work on all of the computers I'm making this for. (some LC IIs, a Classic II, etc.) However, the "Min system for all Macs" that the installer makes takes up 1350, leaving 40-odd K to put other stuff on. To make matters worse, Disinfectant is 333K... obviously something has to give. Does anybody know what I can remove from the System file? Or do I have to bite the bullet and dig out my old 7.0.1 floppies... Thanks! Jay (= (btw, email responses to johnel@audrey.linfield.edu would be appreciated, as get to me faster than to the address in the header...)
