HP Laser printer for the Mac II ?

Does anyone have experience with using any one of the HP laser printers
to print Post Script formatted files produced by Mac II software?

I have heard a rumour that Hewlett Packard has made the software and
hardware modifications to imitate an Apple Laserwriter but HP Sales
up here in the frozen north of Canada are not informed of this new
capability.

I'd appreciate receiving any details.

P. S. Don't believe all that frozen north stuff in the Molson's and Labatt's
      beer ads.  Today it is 34C in Toronto with a relative humidity of 85%.
