And to add to the confusion :)

I've updates my SE to 4.1/5.5 using the Installer (scripts),
used (a hacked version [more DA's] of) F/DA Mover 3.5 extensively
and have never (knock on Mac) suffered any problems
of System files being larger than life.

But I do keep a System file on floppy just to make sure
that there's life after such errors. (not before long
I'll have to start using backup-utilities to put my
system file on floppy... It's getting close to 800 Kb.
