THANKS EVERYBODY! Just in case you were wondering, I needed the 800K MFS volume to help with disk recovery. By copying the first two sectors of this blank onto the trashed disk, a trashed 800k HFS that is, you can then examine the disk with Fedit or any of those other wonderful disk utilities that only work on MFS volumes. (This is, of course, not the first line of attack.) Now that I've got the materials (THANKS AGAIN) I'm gonna see if this actually works. Once done, I shall relate my experiences to you as a further expression of gratitude. AM I THE ONLY ONE NOT USING UNIX? ======================================= From the pastures of thrice blessed felicity...sonic love! -Mike ==SATAN==============IS============BORING.===============================
