I bought the old suitcase about 2 months ago, got the upgrade notice
yesterday (the one that reads "offer expires August 31, 1988"), called
Fifth Generation today, and they said no problem, send that notice in
with my upgrade request.
I feel confident that they're just backlogged, but will take care of
all the upgrade requests conscientiously...so patience, everybody...
these things happen.
Some day, I might even try to buy some SIMMs at an uninflated price :-)
