I got an advertising blurb from ZOOM Telephonics, Inc. (207 South Street,
Boston, MA 02111) offering (limited-time-only) their ZOOM 2400/1200/300
Hayes(Smartmodem)-compatible modem for $169 (regularly $219). Offer ends
October 31. Modem has eight status lights, is made in U.S.A. (nice to
know for warranty purposes), and has a 2-year warranty. Price includes
taxes, shipping and handling, and Quick Link software for the Mac.

Serial cable not included -- can be purchased for $19.

30-day no-questions-asked refund if dissatisfied.

Their toll-free number is 800-631-3116 ext. 16.
In Massachusetts call 617-423-1072 ext. 16.
