I had just made up my mind to order a Mac SE when the price increase
disaster struck. Now I need some help in remaking up my mind. I will
be grateful to anyone who will help by giving me some info and insight.

1. I read about the price increasing in October.
   But local vendors seem to have increased the price by about
   $200 already. Is it going to get worse in October or is this it?

2. Should I now hurry up and buy the SE or does it make sense to wait?

   I like the Mac, need something with the facilities an SE offers, and 
   am willing to spend $3,000 max on a machine, preferably only 
   $2,500 (ah!).  Should I wait for this other machine Apple is 
   supposed to announce? Is NeXt something I can dream of?

3. While I am at it, one more question: does anyone know of good
   Arabic/Urdu word processing software for the Mac?
