Any news or rumors about the fabled system rewrite that Apple's been
working on? What are they planning? How will it compare to the NeXT
machine? I still have faith in Apple's R&D, and feel that I'll always
be able to get a state of the art home computer from them as long as
I pay through the nose.

Specifically, how will they update the programmer's interface? The
toolbox gets kludgier every day, and I'm about ready for a change.
Someone posted something about object oriented, but that covers a lot
of ground. Anywhere from just putting MacApp in the ROMs to a well
thought out, completely revised system.

Oh, and if anyone is nice enough to take the time to respond, could
you please email? Our newsfeed is very flaky. If enough people
respond, I'll summarize. Thanks a bundle.
