dos emulation on a MAC

Can anyone supply me with some info on running DOS on a MAC? (WHY?! -
it's a long story)

I had come across an ad referencing software emulation, and am aware of
286/386 boards for the MAC. What I would appreciate is for someone
to give their impressions of using any of these, and the companies
and prices, if known.

Thanks, and I will post a summary, assuming I get a response!
